)Ship: Bliss is big and beautiful with some wasted space. For example: near Surgarcanes the bathrooms are no longer there is just a walking area with art work. No midship elevators and at times the elevators were jammed packed. It wasn't easy for those who can't walk up and down stairs. Ship felt very crowed at times and we have never felt that way on any other NCL ships before. Eventhough its the same size of the Escape and I have sailed that ship 3 times and never felt like that even during Thanksgiving.
Dining: It took us 2 1/2 hours to have dinner in La Cucina. 2 hours in the Manhatten Room, 2 Hours in Q. It was like the 4 of us had a sign on our heads to make sure we waited 2 hours or more. Cagney's took 2 hours and the portion size of the sides were very tiny. My brother had onion rings and got 2 onion rings for his size for $4.00. When asked by the waiter why it's only 2 onion rings his response was IDK then left. Also, while they come by and ask if you want a picture, if they take it they come by and ask you if you want to buy it. This was most inappropiate when your apps are on the table and your trying to eat. It would be better with not come back or wait until no food on table. Just a thought.
Wine Bar: My son (19) had writen permission before getting on the ship which was also on his card to have beer or wine. The 1st night we all went and had a lovely time. A few days later, my son went with his sister who's 21 and asked for a glass of wine. The man didn't even bother to look at his card and told him the non alcoholic drinks are at the whiskey bar and then he walked away. My husband and I were having a good time at Sugarcanes we love Chocolate Cowboy (the BEST) and our kids came over to tell us what happened. So, hubby went and spoke to him and said oh there's a misunderstanding, I didn't know he was of age. SO my hubby told him if you would've checked his card you would see he was of age and had permission. The man rolled his eyes and walked away. When my hubby returned, I told someone on the ship who works there whom we've know for several years and they told us the crew hates the ship and half of them don't wat to be here and that's where those attitudes come from. The person told me that they don't like it either BUT love what they do and he doesn't let the negative interfer with the job or customers.
Cabin was very spacious for the 4 of us. There was enough room for our luggage being stored and plenty of hangers in the closet. We had no above or below noises and it was close enough to the elevators.
