Sail Date: Dec 2018
Cabin: Edge Veranda Stateroom

We were very excited to sail on this new ship. I just think there was too much oversell and then once you are on there its not all that they made it out to be. Getting on the ship was quite easy. Cabin service was good, but the infinity veranda was like a window, didn't have the same feel as a true balcon. Some meals were hit and miss both with food and service. Raw was good. Shopping was nice we purchased a few items. Martini bar was nice. Sunset Bar was bland. Spa was nothing different. Internet service was good. Photoshop had some issues. Entertainment on one night was good and then when they brought people in when we docked in Mexico was awesome (but that was just for the inaugural sailing). Walking off the ship was a nightmare hundreds of people lined up, squashed on deck 5, ship was delayed getting clearance so many were becoming irate waiting for some since 6:00am....Going through customs was wonderful and fast. I don't think at the increased price that we will sail on the Edge again. We will stick to the other Celebrity ships.
