Very nice week. Not perfect, but that can happen on any ship

We are an active couple in our sixties.

Leaving Baltimore in winter can create a rocky and cold sailing for the first 36 or so hours. But that’s not surprising. After that, it’s smooth sailing unless you experience inclement weather. That can happen on any ship. I discovered that Green Apples really do the job. I recommend keeping a couple in your cabin just in case.

We did not get off the ship for The ports, Freeport, Nassau, princess Cay. I’ve heard there’s very little appealing unless you want to sit on a beach for a few hours. Mostly, it’s souvenir shops in these ports. And one or two bars of which there are plenty on this ship.

Balcony (obstructed views)

Cabin 7A

We were pleasantly surprised. First time with an obstructed view balcony, and it was fine. Just couldn’t look down and see the ocean. But there’s a full view over the life boat that was connected just below our balcony. I wouldn’t hesitate to get one again.

Great location in that it was sort of midway in all directions. So easy fast access. The room was very clean. Huge bathroom for a cruise ship. And plenty of living space for a couple, with a king bed and a sofa. TV service was minimal, but that’s a minor inconvenience. Fabulous attentive stewards. Really comfortable bed. Great shower function.
