Loved there were 3 combinable promo's which made this cruise very cost effective. The NCL staff and entertainment was phenomenal and the food was generally very good with a few exceptions. Some excursions were not worth the time or money but some were fantastic so it was a mix. It's always good to experience other countries and cultures so I'm glad we took this trip but we'd skip going back to a few. NCL's island, Harvest Caye, in Belize had an amazing beach and pool, as well as many shops and even a small zipline. The only down side was that you had no ship privileges even though NCL owns the island so food and drinks are on your own. We had an obstructed OV room and, although a bit small, it was laid out to make use of space very well. In fact, it had more drawer space than we needed and this was a 14 day cruise! The only complaint would be that there is absolutely no soundproofing and you can hear everything being said in the adjacent cabins.
It was smaller than I expected and it was a bit tight on each side of the bed, especially on the side by the desk. That said, there was tons of storage and we didn't even need to use it all. The 4 large suitcases all fit under the bed perfectly, thankfully, so well thought out for small space utilization. The only thing that was wrong was that the walls are paper thin and you could hear people on both sides talking, let alone when they were having company.
I did the Black Swan Electric Boat cruise which is good for someone who wants unlimited rum and fruit punch but we didn't see any wildlife and it was fairly expensive for the amount of time in the boat. Our guides were very nice and did point out Placentia and some other landmarks but it's not one I would repeat or recommend, personally. There was also an opportunity to do a small zipline on the island which looked like fun and wasn't costly. Lots of little shops on the island, as well as a restaurant / bar that looked quite nice. The pools and beach were awesome and I would just stay at the beach if I returned to this port - it was heaven!
