The internet, phones and tv was up and down. They need to fix the phone problem because someone is going to have an emergency and not be able to call for help. Entertainment was okay. Food options were very disappointing. Very few vegetarian options. If you are a carnivore, you have it made. We were on the crown last year and it was so much better. Ports were good. We had not been to three out of the four. International cafe is normally a highlight, but options were repetitive and limited. Room service was prompt, with no issues. The best part of the ship is the retreat. Our balcony was aft, there was no privacy from above. We only experienced the soot issue one night. Our cabin steward did a good job. Overall it was not our best cruise and not our worst. We’ll definitely choose a different ship next time. Disappointed since this was our third trip on the royal. Has definitely gone down from our past two voyages on her.
