My husband and I recently took this cruise to Cuba, we have both always wanted to go there. I can't say enough good things about it. This ship goes to places most Americans will never see, We enjoyed the daily talks on the ship providing information on various topics in regards to the ports we were visiting etc.. At each stop the tours that we went on were very good and educational, The food was very good on the ship and the staff was great. My husband and I were probably one of the youngest people on this trip which was fine with us. The cruise ship does not have a casino or swimming pool. All rooms are a decent size and all have balcony's. If you have ever thought about going to Cuba this is the cruise to take, Oh, and we felt very safe everywhere we went in Cuba, Believe it or not they have a very low crime rate
Bigger than I expected, all cabins have a balcony bathrooms were bigger than I expected as well
vefore we went to Cienfuegos, we stopped in Casilda which is a very smal port near the city of Trinandad. Cienfuegos was very nice. We went on a walking tour of the City, saw the old theater, had lunch at a Paladar (privetly owned home with a "restaurant"}and learned the history of the City, I believe that Jose Marte was from there. Before we stopped in Cienfuegos we spent the previous night in Casilda, a very small port that most cruise ships would not be able to get into. From there, we went to Trindad which is an agricultural area a lot of people still get around on horses and donkeys.
