The difference in Viking is that it is an educational trip with information the day before excursions and local guides on the excursions. Viking was very accommodating of people with disabilities on the daily excursions as well. The above made the excursions so much more informative and enjoyable! In addition, Viking provides all the amenities that you expect on a cruise without all the extra charges of other cruise lines. The cabin, a perfect size for two people, has a great shower and even has a fog-less mirror. The entertainment on the ship was great! The music on the ship was excellent with a very talented pianist and clarinetist. Food and service were excellent too with local country favorities/specialties to try and other classics always available. The dining room staff were very friendly and all very prompt and courteous. I highly recommend Viking and will definitely go on another trip in the future.
