We tried the Haven for the first on the Norwegian Breakaway Baltic Sea Cruise and NO REGRETS! We loved it!!! I had my three kids ages 16 through 21 with me in a 2 bedroom suite. It was well worth the extra money. Patrick, the concierge, was awesome. Kumar, the bartender was so much fun!!! Enjoyed all the staff.

We couldn't wait to cruise again with Norwegian and in the Haven. This time we chose a cruise in the Western Caribbean. This time we were on the Pearl. It was a great cruise, but not the same Haven experience. I missed the Haven bar and restaurant and the 2 story Haven pool area. The Moderno restaurant, one floor down, was OK, but there was no Haven evening meals there. I also missed the concierge desk in the Haven. Our concierge, Bruno, was sometimes at the desk one floor down outside the Moderno, but we usually had to reach him by phone. He was great though! This was a much warmer cruise and the pool area was a little stuffy, small and only had one hot tub, which was usually occupied by young kids. We ate lunch there on the last day and the service was very, very slow taking an hour from finding a clean table to actually getting our food. It would have been much faster and more comfortable (not as hot) to have gone downstairs to the Moderno. It was not near the added value as on the other ship. We had friends that stayed in the suites. They paid less, and had all the same perks, except access to the Haven pool area. Still a fun cruise and a nice clean ship, clean rooms, good food and best of all great service. Had we not had to eat in the main dining rooms in the evenings we would have not met Red. He was a fun waiter in the evenings and 'Mr. Washy-Washy' by day. You could him singing just inside the buffet as he sprayed guests hands as they entered to eat.
