We chose this cruise because we had never visited the ports. Also, we have enjoyed Carnival ships in the past. Embarkation was easy and we were on board in just a few minutes. Cabin was clean and our steward started out with exceptional service. The main dining room was a disappointment, both service and food. Neither was up to expectations of previous cruises.Room service was a joke and never had our orders correct.

The ports were wonderful and it was agreed that all of the ports would be places to visit again. No problems there.

The disembarkation was horrible. We were on the elevator to go to the line to disembark (we had an early excursion booked) and the cruise employee told everyone on the elevator to stay on and go to other floors. We didn't have a chance to explain that we needed to meet our excursion and so we missed the entire excursion. That meant sitting on the floor of the airport for 3 additional hours.

Ocean Suite

Because three of us were traveling together, we opted for an Ocean Suite. It was roomier and better. The balcony was wonderful and we all spent time on the balcony.

Port Reviews

Grand Turk

Loved everything about this excursion.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

We took a catamaran/snorkel tour - it was wonderful. Loved this port.

Half Moon Cay

Probably the most beautiful and cleanest island I have ever seen.
