Shanghai embarkation took 5 hours. During this time there was no contact from MSC staff no announcements, help with language difficulties, no refreshments of any kind, a nightmare start. I realise the process not controllled by MSC but on the other hand just felt totally abandoned by them.
The procedures / processes to get off at the ports seemed increasingly difficult, the paperwork, the queues, the long walks to the terminals themselves. Be prepared for these set backs. Even the excursions- the timings could have spread out their set off and return times so that their wasn’t massive queues to get back onboard after a hot tiring day, then 2 hours queuing to get back onboard.
The food was not what I expected from MSC. Only 2 memorable meals on whole cruise and the rest mediocre.
Expected boat ride to be a little longer but other than that, enjoyed the experience, the shops etc. Very popular with locals. Good value for money
Really like Singapore, been before and this time wanted to go back to the gardens and experience the evening light show. Got a taxi there and back. The taxi drivers are friendly and in my opinion honest.
Just dropped off and collected at MALL. We then took hop on bus.
Shuttle into town. Then took Turk Turk to visit visit various temples etc. Day 2 visited museum
Bus
Used hop on bus.
