Fifth cruise for me,first for my husband, third Carnival Cruise. Chose this one for our honeymoon as relatives live close so no need for transportation/hotel, and this fit in the time frame we were planning. Note- value was exceptional for this particular cruise.

Embarkation well run. No complaints with Tampa.

This is an older ship but still clean and you can see where there were updates done. Some of the decor is nothing short of gaudy, but not offensive. Could use some freshening and softening.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

Not a bad space; it was just the two of us. Little fridge worked out fine for the wine & soda we brought on board as well as little snacks for the late night. Bed was comfortable, although the middle where they joined two to make a king had a sag. Made our cabin steward had to be the hardest working man on the ship- treated us like royalty. If you have kids, only having one outlet will be problematic for charger space! Tons of closet space/drawers. We only used half. Could use a little updating, but everything clean and for the time you spend in the room, acceptable.
