We wanted to be one of the first to cruise on the Carnival Horizon. There were so much hype and expectations. So glad we did!! Overall one of my top 3 cruises.
Ship- Beautiful and decorated for Christmas
Cabin- If I had to complain about something, it would be our cabin. We were in room 12221(Interior Spa Room). Only one closet to hang clothes and 3 small drawers for two to share. I don't remember ever having a room with only one closet to hang clothes or very little space for the fold up clothes.

Getting a taxi to go anywhere was extremely stressful. We were ushered from one line to another. No signs to point us to which one we needed to be in. Once we did get on a bus/taxi, we went straight to Maho Beach (Dutch side of the island). You could tell the driver was not happy about his job. Out of the three we had, only one would talk to us much. Maho Beach is a VERY busy place. But where else can you watch planes fly right over you while swimming in the ocean? It was fun. Then we went to Bikini Beach (French side of the island). A lot of people there too but much more laid back.
Overall we enjoyed going to St. Maarten
Chilled at Jack's Shack for the day.
