I'm a Platinum on Princess and I will have to say that this was one of the worst if not the worst Princess cruise that I have been on....I could not believe that Princess would even have the Ruby located in Los Angeles the entertainment capital of the world. First off when I got on the ship I went to the Lido and asked where I can use my coffee card which iis now on my sign and sail. I was told by a rude person to let her see my card. I gave it to her and she told me to go to the Intl Cafe which I did, After getting my coffee I asked the next day how many coffee where left on the card. I was told 30...what...they laughed...I then realized that this staff member put another coffee 15 coffees on my card and went to the purer. When I first got my coffee they did not put the lid on all the way and it split all over my new shirt. They said they would clean it at no charged and when it returned to my cabin it said comp and no change.. When I looked at my bill a few days later they had billed me twice for the cleaning. When you get on the ship there are posters in the stairwells and Atrium for Sabitinis Restaurant....yes the same one Princess advertises all over the media and Vlogs....I called up to make dinner reservations only to discover that there was no Sabitini's restaurant on the Ruby nor an Alfredos....as a matter of fact there was no ethnic venues at all. There were a few Pay restaurants and decided to try the Crown Grill....I had to pay an extra $10 to get a steak that looked and tasted like it was laying around for a day or two...and a couple of days later I got the same thing in the main dinning room without having to pay $40. I got an Ice Cream at the Intl Coffee venue and had to pay for it....it was included on the old coffee cards...and to top it off I had to pay a gratuity for it....The food was mediocre at best....not at all what I've had or expected from the past...The lido buffet was scaled down with the same thing everyday. Carnival even had better food then the Ruby...The excursions were something else....In Cabo we paid for a two ad half hour excursion which turned into a four and a half hour excursion that was nothing more then a time share.condo sales presentation for Los Cabo where there is a mile of unsold time shares and condos...we even had to pay for our own lunch for a captive audience time share promotion...In Pueta Vill it was raining heavily and when we got on the bus it was leaking everywhere even the lights...we were very concerned....They switched buses about 15 minutes into the excursion and it was not any better,,,,the women were crying and the men had to take off their coats and put them over their wives....we told the tour operator to take us back to the ship and he would not...He said it was part of the adventure and that he would take us to somewhere dry....It turned out to be a jewelry store that we had to walk through 4 inches of rain to get there....the same with the other places like a church....we had to walk through pouring rain and 3-4 inches of rain because it was part of the adventure...when we finally got back to thew ship we all went in mass to guest services...and we were not alone as others from similar excursions were there as well to demand our money back....The ship was rocking and rolling for two days on our way back so most people just stayed in their rooms as the ship did not feel like it had its stabilizers out.....I could go on but the only thing I will say is that it was not the Princess of before...Also as far as I'm concerned Princess should immediately send the Ruby to Asia and bring the Majestic Princess to Los Angeles....
