  3. Norwegian Bliss
We chose Norwegian Bliss as it was the newest ship in their fleet. We had been on most of the Breakaway class ships with the exception NCL Joy and wanted to explore this ship. Bliss was the best in design by far. Even though there were more than 3000 passengers, the ship never felt very crowded. Norwegian has figured out how to maximize the space without having compensate for it somewhere else. I enjoyed the observation lounge where we had some quiet time during the day and also where we enjoyed the views as the ship sailed smoothly in and out of our destinations. It was also a great place to have a snack without the hustle and bustle of the Garden Cafe. Norwegian has also thought about the smoking in the casino area and has put up a glass partition for the smoking players. Our inside cabin was well designed and even though it was small, we managed to do fine without bumping into each other. There weren't many clothes drawers but ample wardrobe space. We enjoyed the shows "Havana" and "Jersey Boys" but the theater filled up quickly, so it was best to arrive about 20 mins before the show. The Beatles tribute band was also entertaining and they played most of their hits. The cruise director and his staff were great and we participated in the daily activities such as trivia, towel folding and origami. The evening games shows were so funny and entertaining that time just flew by. The food was good and we tried The Local for the daily dinner special and stopped by for "pub grub" when we were in need of a snack. The great thing was that we could get hot food 24/7. The Garden Cafe was buffet style and it offered many choices. We generally stopped there for breakfast but used the main dining rooms for dinner. The main dining rooms were Taste and Savor and we went there on a number of occasions. Whilst the food was high in quality, I felt that it could have been a bit warmer. We also tried Cagney's which was a steakhouse and La Cucina which was Italian. Both were very good. All in all, we enjoyed this cruise very much and would definitely take the Bliss again. Well done Norwegian!

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom
Cabin IX 5119
Our inside cabin was well designed and even though it was small, we managed to do fine without bumping into each other. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was very powerful. There weren't many clothes drawers but ample wardrobe space. The cabin steward was great and even though we didn't see him much, the room was made up very quickly and efficiently. I liked the TV where we could access all the information on what was going on during the day.
