We decided to take this cruise about 6 weeks prior to its sailing. We are a retired couple, living in Florida and it seemed like a good “break in routine” for this time of year. It was a 4 night cruise with stops in Key West and Nassau. This was our 53rd overall cruise and 12th with Celebrity – we have Elite status with Celebrity and started cruising with them in the mid 1980's on the Meridian.
The Infinity is a Millennium class ship and the smallest Celebrity sails these days. We have sailed on her before as well as the Millennium and the Constellation. They are all very similar in layout and amenities.
We drive to Port Everglades – about a 70 minute drive for us – we park at Park N Fly as it is very convenient to the port and they provide transportation to and from the terminal. Embarkation had already started when we arrived and was very easy and quick. I had checked in on line and that speeds up the process as well. We were on the ship about 12:30pm – cabins were not to be ready for about an hour so we went to Sushi on 5 and had lunch. The menu there is an ala carte menu and was delicious. By the time we were finished the announcement that cabins were ready had been done.
Nice cabin with plenty of storage - window big - shower big -
