We recently returned from a 10 day cruise on the Norwegian Sun and were quite pleased. We had a mid-ship balcony stateroom, and it was convenient to move about the ship. The buffets served plentiful food, and we had no complaints. We ate breakfast at the buffets and usually ate lunch and dinner in the Seven Seas (main) dining room. If you like to share a larger table with several folks, the Four Seasons (main) dining room is available. We preferred 2-person tables, and the Seven Seas always had several available. At every meal, one of the ship's officers checked in on us to make sure the meal was to our liking. We ate at specialty restaurants 4 evenings, because they were part of our sailing package. We ate the Le Bistro, La Cucina, Cagneys, and Moderno. All were good.

We took advantage of the mid-cruise laundry special. That took care of all our laundry needs.

From reading other people's reviews on this website, I was concerned the ship would offer no televised football games, here in December. The ship does have a contract with the NFL and showed Sunday night, Monday night, and Thursday night games. I don't know if they showed any Sunday afternoon games, since we were on shore excursions, then. Norwegian Cruise Lines does not appear to have a contract to show college football games.
