My wife and I chose this cruise for the itinerary and the price. We had never been on a ship this big and after sailing on her we much prefer the Jewel size ships. This was our 18th cruise and our 8th with NCL.

Since we had never been to New Orleans we came in two days prior to the cruise to check things out. There is always something interesting happening in NOLA we found out. We stayed in the uptown area, away from all the noise but close enough to walk to everything we wanted to see and do. On Saturday, we took a walking tour of the French Quarter.

Our guide was excellent and after our cruise we did a HOHO bus tour.
