We chose this cruise because of the new Infinity cabins. We loved the modern look and great stylishness of the ship. It really is beautiful. However there were some problems that will probably get smoothed out with time.

First, we had trouble with the dining room reservations. I wanted my husband to try different foods, so I booked 3 different dining rooms and printed out my reservation. However, we were assigned a different dining room on day 1. When I went to Guest Relations to try to straighten out the rooms, I was told everything was done, but I received no table numbers. When we went to eat, we were told there were no reservations. We kept being told we had to go back to our first dining room and stay there. A positive note, however, is that we had a great waiter, Alena, in the Cyprus Restaurant. She was a had-worker, knew the food, went the extra mile to be sure we enjoyed our dinner. Give her a raise!

Also, as Elite members, we got a card in our room saying we could have free drinks "Daily" during happy hour. However, on the back of the card, in a footnote on the bottom, in small print is the disclaimer that the drinks were not available on disembarkation and embarkation days, which cuts the days in half on a 3-day cruise. The disclaimer should be up front where is says "Daily" to avoid confusion.

Cabin Review

Edge Veranda Stateroom

Cabin E2

The cabins are stunning. The colors are soft and very attractive. Lots of storage space, although you might have to check carefully for hidden drawers. I liked the look of the Infinite verandas, but the shad is a problem. It comes up from the bottom, so you have to be sure to be dressed when you open the shade in the morning. The bad & pillows are top-notch.
