This was the first time this cruise was offered, Boston to the Caribbean and back to Boston. The 6 sea days, 3 down and 3 back were something, including the Nor'easter that had the boat really rolling for about 24 hours. That storm was the first sea day, luckily this cruise was mostly experienced cruisers who just laid low for the day.
We enjoyed the trip down just the same. It was followed by 7 days in the Caribbean. We had been to some of the islands before, but this time the weather was hot and oppressive, St. Thomas and especially St. Martin. Still we enjoyed the ship and the warm weather with air-conditioning nearby on the ship. Great to get away from the New England cold in November.
The train ride on St. Kitts was a highlight, expensive but beautiful sights, nice breezes, and lots of rum punch. A group of local women sang folk songs along the way too on the train. A great tour, don't miss it.
Outstanding location right near the spa and gym, just a floor below the Garden Cafe. Little if any noise from the chairs scraping above, some people have reported lots of noise. Everything in the cabin works great. Nice and clean, though the windows on the balcony could use a wash, we saw them out there as we were leaving the ship.
