Let me start by saying that Princess was our favorite cruise line at one point. Our last Princess cruise before this one was in 2011. We loved Princess back then. We did a cruise in 2012 on the Freedom of the Seas (RCCL) and they became our favorite with Princess being a close 2nd. Recently we sailed Princess again on the Regal for 7 nights doing the Eastern Itinerary. Overall, we gave this cruise a 7 our of 10. The ship...beautiful and laid out just right. The food was outstanding and the service and crew were all probably the most pleasant we have ever encountered in ALL of our cruising. We had a great forward facing balcony...L101 and it was perfect. We were able to use it any time we wanted whether we were at sea or in port.

Where this cruise lacked was the excursion offerings in the ports we visited and the onboard activities and shows. The comedian was probably the worst we have ever seen and the shows were so lack luster that we even left each one part way through. We NEVER do that.

We like to have things to do during the days and evenings and the activities were really a joke. I will be doing a full review on the Princess board in the coming days.
