This was our fourth cruise on NCL and might be our last. The only warm food we had was in the specialty restaurants. We had drink service twice on the sun deck. The rest of the time we got our own because they took so long and were few and far between.Beware of the “free” meals and drinks. We felt nickel and dimed. The ship felt compartmentalized and was difficult to to get from forward to aft. The special shows were okay, but you had to buy lunch or dinner. Our last impression was our room service breakfast order that we received without the two omelettes. Some of the staff just didn’t seem genuinely friendly, except for our room steward and a couple waitstaff. The food at Savor and Taste was lukewarm. The crab legs at Ocean Blue were overcooked and cold. The rolls were excellent and warm. The lobster was translucent. There were few tables and chairs in the sundeck and pool area. All in all, we had a good time but we’re disappointed in the Getaway. Compared to the Epic and Dawn, it felt like NCL was trying to put as many people as possible in the same space to share the amenities, making this a so so trip.

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Nice cabin, tiny balcony. More like a plain balcony. The shower was nice and there was a lot of storage space.
