I am so surprised to hear the extremely negative comments about the Jade this November. I wanted to write and state that we (5 adults travelling together) were quite amazed at how NCL handled the unexpected situtation. I cant begin to imagine the logistics of trying to get 2500 guests off the boat in an organized fashion and onto airplanes to leave Puerto Rico. But they tried! And they stepped up to the plate with regards to refunds, airfares and credits.

The 4 nights we spent on the boat were fantastic... even the one night where we weren't allowed to disembark in PR. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The food and beverages were fantastic! Im just sorry we didnt get to try all of the restaurants.

I am truly sorry so many people's vacation plans were changed, but the old saying is when life hands you lemons... you make lemonade. We stayed in beautiful Puerto Rico for 3 more days and explored the wonderful island. We would not have seen so much of this great place if the ship hadnt broken down. Read more
