We are a couple in our early 50`s who have enjoyed 10 prior cruises, many 10 nights or more.We booked this 5 night back to back for just a getaway from the cold weather of Missouri. With the Century being an older Celebrity ship our expectations were not set high.We flew into Miami a couple days early to enjoy the city..
We arrived at the port around 11 and Embarkation was VERY smooth and we were on the ship within 20 minutes. We were greeted with champagne and a variety of other Welcome drinks. The rooms were not ready so we went straight to the buffet,of course, then did some exploring of the ship..
The first 5 night leg of the cruise we were in an Inside cabin on deck 4 that had mounted side bunks next to each bed. Both my wife and myself banged our head on the bunks as did our adjoining neighbor.Do NOT take an inside cabin for 4 on that deck.Otherwise room was fine. The second 5 night leg our cabin on deck 8 was MUCH better..Cabin stewards performed their duties excellently.
