We chose this cruise ship again because we had said her in 2014 and LOVED IT!!! The ship was still just as beautiful and well kept as we remembered. We had a balcony cabin on deck seven which was beautiful and spotless, our cabin attendant was awesome and very attentive as we've always experienced with Royal Caribbean. The main dining room is beautiful and the wait staff as wonderful. The food for breakfast was good, sea day lunch was excellent and each night at dinner was excellent along with our waitresses Katrina and Rachell who were just amazing, couldn't have asked for better food or service. We even asked for a repeat of a dessert item for the next night that wasn't going to be on the menu and the chef went above and beyond to make us happy. The breakfast in the Windjammer was very good, pretty much the same everyday but there was a huge selection so we didn't get bored with breakfast. Lunch in the Windjammer was a different story, and I hate to be negative but here goes...….the first day was great we really enjoyed it but it was the same stuff everyday after that with very few differences. I love pizza, hamburgers and hot dogs but really got sick of them, I love to try new things and there just wasn't much selection. Granted the food was great but it got boring and we didn't experience that in 2014 when we sailed on the Brilliance. We enjoyed Cozumel, just did some shopping but we really loved Key west, we did the Old Time Trolley tour and I highly recommend it, great tour and drivers were very entertaining and fun. They accommodated out group of 30+ people with a very short wait and it was just our group of people (we had a total of 60+ people with our church group).

Entertainment on the ship is another place I have a little negativity (I hate that too), the shows in the Theater were amazing and there was plenty of seating but a lot of the entertainment was centered around the Centrum and we had lots in our group who just couldn't stand to watch the entertainment and therefore missed out on it, which was very sad because there was good entertainment and games/shows just not enough seating. I asked at the front desk about folding chairs for a few of the older people with our group and they said it was first come first serve and nothing they could do that they don't provide folding chairs......very bad service Royal!!! I think if they need to plan things with seating so everyone can enjoy it! That lady at Customer Service was the only one I've dealt with on 5 cruises that didn't go out of their way to be accommodating for us. When we would call in prior to the cruise the customer service was top notch, which is why we always go back to Royal. Embarkation and debarkation was both very quick and easy in the Port of Tampa and the port employees help with getting baggage loaded to the tour bus to get us out of there quickly. We were aboard on Halloween and it was very crowded but the festivities were great. In watching the Halloween Dance Party there was three women hunching, rubbing and kissing all over each other and I think someone from the Royal Caribbean staff should have put a stop to that, we left the party early due to vulgar happenings and took the kids back to find family friendly activities. The kids in our group were really enjoying dancing until we made them leave, shame on you Royal for not putting a stop to that nonsense, those people needed to get a room!!!!

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 1D

The cabin was very clean and well kept. There was a full size (2 twin beds), a pullman bed and a loveseat that turned into a bed. All the beds and linens were very nice and comfortable. The stateroom, as with many cruise staterooms, was a little small especially with 4 adult ladies trying to get ready all at the same time. When the pull out sofa bed was out there was very little floor space. We weren't in the cabin much so it was fine, we very much enjoyed the very spacious unobstructed balcony.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Just shopped and walked around the port shopping area, then got back on the ship and enjoyed the view from the ship. Very beautiful port.
