A+. We had the time of our life. We booked the cruise with two other couples who were both great fun and great company - everything was loads of laughs. Also we met another couple at our dining room table whose company we enjoyed. Passengers were generally open and friendly. There were not so many children on our cruise - and they were sweet. A couple of weeks before school started we were told there were 800 children on one cruise.
Food in the main dining room ranged from above average to excellent. Staff members were nice (Great job Lambert and Albert and "See Me"). We liked the midnight buffet and enjoyed eating at the windjammer cafe. Food was plentiful. The coke tumbler deal was expensive and did not include Dr. Pepper. After the first day we would have to hunt down areas to get access to refills and quickly tired of lugging the tumblers around. In the casino and bars, cola was served in glasses when you showed your coke stamp, so we left the tumblers in our room.
I only went to two shows which were sophomoric and reminiscent of school. Bingo was amusing, but prizes were not so much. My husband really enjoyed the casino and I enjoyed the indoor swimming and hot tub in the solarium and the money that my husband won in the casino. I wasn't very lucky in the casino but had fun. Our cabin was very roomy and we loved coming back to it after hot days off the ship. We enjoyed our balcony and we had plenty of storage space. There was only one electrical plug and it was across from the bed - so bring an extension cord.
