I was traveling with a group of about 20, Family and Friends. We arrived at the airport around 9:30 am, we did not leave the airport until close to noon or a little after. We were told that there was a problem getting some passengers off of the ship and we would have to wait. When we finally reached port we had to wait to embark on the ship. Seemed that I had to hurry and wait the whole day. It was very chaotic and very frustrating. Once we finally got on the ship, settled and able to relax a little, we took pictures, had a great bartender that made us the best Mango Daiquiris. The stateroom was set up nicely and our adult beverages, water, and goodies from the admin of the trip had arrived and was set up. Gorge was the BEST ever and he took very good care of us and the stateroom. We did NOT have AC and had to call guest services and the sent Maintenance and a fan right away. The hallways smelled very badly but our room was wonderful. The food was great, we had a chance to eat at the Italian restaurant, Cucina del Capitanio. The food was amazing, the entertainment was a nice touch, and our waitstaff was the BEST. It seemed some of the staff was in a bad mood, a little impatient, and some just mean as if they didnt want to be there. The ladies that I traveled with assured me that it was the first time that they had ever had an experience like this. It was not their best cruise. I have a cruise scheduled for next year and I pray that it is better than this one. I really need a DO OVER. My overall experience was a good one and folks like Wigonbe, Gorge, Michael, DeDe, and few others made me want to cruise again.
The stateroom was good for the three of us, we all had places to store our clothes in the closets and we were able to fit two of the three large suitcases in the closet. The AC didn't work properly.
