Traveled with children

We choose this cruise as a family vacation (two adults and five year old daughter) after having cruised many times (including Royal Caribbean, Celebrity and Princess).

Two days prior to the cruise, we were alerted by email that there would be significant amount of children onboard, and that may cause some delays with kids activities (which of course is too late to do anything about it).

There were over 1,200 kids on board, which appears to push the ability of both the ships kids programs and that of the ships staff overall. The children programs were so bad that you often had to wait 45 minutes to an hour to drop your child off (and then were often told that they are now full and there is no available space for your child). Not only did this not allow my daughter to participate in the program, it also prevented us from experiencing with a number of the other activities.
