We chose this cruise for the itinerary: from Europe and the Mediterranean through the Suez Canal and the Middle East and over to Southeast Asia. The entire process of embarkation and disembarkation was very smooth and surprisingly glitch-free, it was a well-organized ship.

Some pluses:

Good quality and variety of food

Interior

Cabin IE

Our cabin was just the right size for the two of us. Everything worked well, beds were comfortable, and there was enough storage space. Tea kettle was a nice touch. We liked being able to see where the ship was on the television's map application, and to see where we were headed on the live cam.

Port Reviews

Malta (Valletta)

A nice place to explore on foot, on your own. Such a beautiful port to arrive in early morning.

Rhodes

A beautiful port and city. We enjoyed strolling around, patting the cats, holding parrots, and learning about the history.

Aqaba (Petra)

Tour was cancelled due to flash flood and deaths the day before. Aqaba was filthy and the people unfriendly.

Dubai

The guide was informative but Dubai just wasn't very interesting to us.

Dubai

We had only 8 minutes to visit the spice souk. The museum was horrible - dark, crowded, and uninteresting. Could not enter the mosque so didn't understand the point of "visiting".

Dubai

A pointless visit, could only walk around the outside.

Kelang (Kuala Lumpur)

Doris was an excellent guide, very entertaining and informative. We had enough time at each stop, and lunch was a great experience.
