Although I had a wonderful time with my family on this family reunion cruise, because of the cool people/party I brought with me, I was highly disappointed in the service and cruise. My husband and I had been on this same ship three months earlier in The Baltic and had a fabulous time, however the staff had turned over to an almost entirely new, inexperienced crew. Service in the main dining rooms were poor at best. We waited 20 minutes to get soy milk for our coffee, and then had to ask for new coffee when our cup was cold. Bar staff seemed to go out of their way not to wait on people. And, I was told several times that I had not asked for sometching I had in fact asked when the wrong item was brought. The customer was always assumed to be wrong. Servers stood around waiting instead of assisting with the process. The cruise started with our cards being printed out wrong (my 16 year old daughter got my 40+ year old friends all inclusive, alcohol drink package, while my 14 year old daughter got two soda packages. The result was waiting in the guest services line three times to get it fixed because nobody noticed the full issue at once.
On a positive note, I was again amazed by the entertainment. All of the shows were fantastic and the Howl at the Moon players were spectacular!
In the future, we will most likely look to other cruise lines, as it seems they do not value their American customers (what other reason can be made given such different cruises experiences on the exact same ship).
The room was very nice. Loved being at the front of the ship!
Was amazing. We had a wonderful time. Great photo ops and history!
