Usually I love Holland America but Koningsdam isn't up to the normal HL standards. There is no library, the promenade deck has blocked views and no where to sit. The casino and the back deck are exclusively for smokers (as you can not breath if your a non-smoker in either of these two venues. Food in the MDR was never hot, mostly lukewarm. Most of the time what showed up on your plate was not what was in the menu. The chef even came by as I asked that perhaps arugula should be in an arugula salad. He dug thru it and couldn't find any. The waiters are very slow as they have way too many tables so expect to miss dessert if you want to be out of the MDR in less than 2 hours.
The pool cleanliness was poor so I ended up with an ear infection ...
The shows were ok but nothing special.

Standard Interior Stateroom
For an inside it is smaller than other HL ships, but the shower is excellent. Loved the free movies. My room stewards kept it immaculate.
