This is a short review of the NCL Bliss which departed November 17th for the Inaugural 7 night Caribbean Sailing.

I had a group of 103 people sail on this ship and more than half of them stated to me they would not sail on this ship again which is troubling for me to hear. Our group has done the Getaway, Escape, Jade, Sky, and now the Bliss which underperformed in many areas. This was my 44th cruise and I'm a Platinum member on NCL. This cruise was average to just under average which was really disappointing.

Embarkation was very smooth, little hectic, but I thought the employees did very well. As we boarded the ship, the initial staff was very friendly. On Deck 6 there was a long line already set at noon to sign up for the go carts and laser tag. Unbeknownst to me there was a limited amount of all inclusive packages for these on the ship. This information was no where to be found on the NCL.COM. It was also learned at that time each ride or play was $10 per person so for a family of four is $40 for one trip on the go carts. Our group had many kids, including myself, who didn't even get an opportunity to ride the go carts as they were sold out or as a walk up was a two hour wait on different occasions. Also on Deck 6 was the dining reservationist. Most of our group had the 4 nights UDP, however, when we went to make reservations, they were told all specialty dining was sold out. Luckily for me, I had scheduled mine ahead of time, but to not have any reservations open for people with the package is very disappointing. I actually had to go to three different Matri D's and beg for them to allow people in my group to make reservations for whatever was available.
