I chose this cruise because I wanted to experience a Europe to the States crossing. I had made the crossing three times before in the other direction and wanted to experience the opposite this time.

Embarkation was smooth but stressful for me because my airline lost my luggage in Madrid while I went on to Rome to catch the ship! I must say, however, that everyone I met onboard from my cabin attendant to the personnel at the Guest Services desk was sympathetic and endeavored to help in any way they could. I appreciated greatly the laundry services provided to me as I dealt with my very limited wardrobe. Everyone tried so hard to help me out in my predicament.

We enjoyed dining in The Bistro three times in fourteen days! It is our favorite. Breakfast was enjoyed in the Versailles restaurant, and the staff always accommodated our dining requests, no matter how involved, with a smile. We also enjoyed Moderno, and had a fun time in the Teppanyaki restaurant.

The cabin was quite nice and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the balcony.
