We liked it so much last year, so we booked it again while onboard! This ship is a bit different than the other NCL ships, but we find it very enjoyable during a TA cruise. While checking rates and categories during the year, an H9 (Haven Spa Suite) opened up. We just said it was our time to experience a Haven setting. We were not disappointed! From being whisked through embarkation (as well as disembarkation) to having a butler and concierege available when needed, it was icing on the cake. Lots of other nice perks during our 12/day crossing, and we loved the attention! Although we have read some minor complaints, we find that it is a well-run ship. I will say that we always pre-book our dining and show times to avoid being shut out of preferred times. Some choose not to, and therefore, the stand by lines were always there. It doesn't take that much pre-cruise time to get it done, so do it as soon as your booking date opens up! No complaints!

Cabin Review

Spa Suite

Cabin H9

The cabin was as seen in some videos. Very comfortable. A little trouble with the spa tub, but that was corrected. If there is any ocean motion, you will probably have water flow from the shower! Needs a bigger lip, maybe! We loved having the Nespresso machine and Tea Forte for me. Large, comfortable balcony. The one downside is the overall lighting which is a bit too dim. That was addressed in general during the general meeting with the hotel director and other officers. Ship is going in for refurb next year.
