Arrived to port at 10:30 a.m. due to Saints game at 3:30 p.m., a jewelry show and other things going on in NOLA. Our check in time was at noon; however, we were able to check in early. The check in process took about 25 minutes from start to finish waiting in the area to board the ship. We began boarding the ship and were on board by 11:15. The ship is beautiful, huge and very segmented. The staff was great! Our balcony was on Deck 12 aft which worked out well, as we took the aft elevator right into the Garden Cafe each morning for our coffee. Entertainment was great; however, please know that on the Breakaway, it was best if you scheduled your dining and entertainment far in advance as once on the ship, you were not able to get much in the way of dining availability. Also, the theater shows were very booked as well so book that and comedy as early as possible.

With regard to ports, we were not told that you have to also schedule a tender for Belize. So go to the kiosk or your TV ASAP to get an early tender for Belize as it takes about 45 minutes to get to land. The ship has to dock over 5 miles from land and by the time the tender boat fills up and you get to land, 45 minutes has elapsed.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B4

Cabin was great. Only complaint I had was the shower did not drain well and overflowed every time. As for everything else, it was great.

Harvest Caye

We just stayed on the island and enjoyed an overcast day at the beach.
