Hubby picked this cruise as Panama Canal was on his bucket list and he doesn't get that many choices when it comes to our hols!
1st timed we had sailed from Miami, I was pretty impressed with the organisation. Embarkation was pretty quick and easy, just over an hour from leaving the taxi to being seated for a lovely 3 course lunch in the Grand Pacific. Recommend this (like so many others) for embarkation & disembarkation day to escape the crowds in the buffet.
Booked an inside cabin (9165), which was compact but well appointed and spotlessly clean. Queen size bed very comfy, adequate storage and hanging space. Shower was a good size, with nice slide door, no horrid shower curtain unlike MSC!! Cabin attendant was fantastic, his towel sculptures just got better throughout the cruise. Didn't feel we missed out on not having a window or balcony, spent very little time in it and the position of cabin was very quiet, which is more important to us.
Compact cabin with Queen size very comfortable bed. Plenty of storage and hanging space. Our large cases actually fitted under bed!
Good size shower with plenty of self space for toiletries. Easy to use safe. Powerful but heavy hairdryer. Adequate amount of sockets.
Position of cabin was aft but good position for lift but very quiet.
Take the Big Bus Tour to see the most of the city in a short time.
Nice shops at port. Very enticing pool and exciting looking kids splash area. Loads of sunbeds with plenty of shade but we were the only ship in that day. Beautiful looking beach, put quite shingly under foot but the swimming was great. Plenty of stuff to do with beach volley ball, kayaking, manatee spotting, zip wiring etc
