We chose this cruise because it was an offer too good to miss. We had always considered doing a transatlantic cruise because we enjoy sea days and we knew the ship as we have been on the Epic twice before.

Overall the cruise was a success, the activities programme on the sea days was second to none. The Cruise Director, Andre, and his staff pulled out all the stops and we were entertained from early morning til late at night. We particularly enjoyed the quizzes as we met some fantastic people whilst taking part. The entertainment in the theatre was second to none, with Burn the Floor being spectacular and we particularly enjoyed the band Albatross Air which played in the Cavern Club most nights.

We had the ultimate beverage package and as usual this did not disappoint, NCL's cocktail list is very extensive and their Mimosas are to die for! We also ate in the speciality restaurants, they seemed to be overbooked in Cagney's and the service was slow, but the food was delicious. We also enjoyed the food in the Garden Cafe and unlike other cruise lines we have been on, there was always a good selection of vegetables, steamed or stir fried. The service in the Taste dining room was a bit hit and miss, but again the food was great.
