As others have mentioned Majesty is well maintained for a ship it’s age. You choose Majesty to go to Cuba, not for the big ship bells and whistles. Food, entertainment, etc are pretty on par to other RCCL cruises.

Stateroom attendant and casino workers seemed friendly and happy. Other workers were forgettable.

Fitness center is rather small as is casino but it still worked out okay. Sorrentos and Boleros wer actually bigger than other ships.

Owner's Suite

Cabin OS

I read a few reviews on our cabin a few days before sailing and thought “surely these people are overreacting”. It can’t be *that* bad. Well. It was.

Extreme disappointment in the constant noise in our expensive suite located under the Windjammer. We booked a cruise a year ago or go to Cuba on the Empress. We splurged on the owners suite with high expectations. Months later we got a letter that there was a fleet change to Majesty. I didn’t think much of it but to my horror, moments within the suite I realize we are directly under the Windjammer. Who on earth would put THE most expensive suites under the buffet?! The noise was constant especially at night when trying to sleep. Constant banging, water running, drawers opening and carts rolling, etc. It was like trying to sleep in a construction zone.

Thousands of money wasted, a vacation ruined and came back totally exhausted after 5 nights of interrupted sleep.

No other complaints on ship or staff.

We just made Diamond level but are so angry with this scenario, we will seriously have to consider ever risking our money with RCCL again.
