The Majestic Princess was a fantastic way to travel to Tasmania. The staff are so friendly, the food is amazing and the entertainment was excellent. Even with 3500 travellers on board you could always find a seat in the public areas. Our stateroom was well appointed and very clean. We encountered rough seas but the newer and larger ship was much smoother in the conditions than the smaller ships. The embarkation and disembarkation process was very quick and efficient. The adults only area with cabanas and a pool was included in the price. A great area to chill out. Our ports of Hobart and Port Arthur were very interesting places to visit with so much history. The tender service to and from the ship to Port Arthur was run very smoothly. It was lovely to have 2 nights in Hobart to explore the city at night. I would definitely recommend this ship to travel on. Princess is ahead in so many ways.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Our cabin was fantastic. Very well appointed with ample space and always kept clean by our room steward. The television was easy to navigate and a multiple number of movies were available to view in the cabin.

Port Reviews

Hobart

It was a delight to go into the National Park and see the waterfalls.

Hobart

Fantastic experience.

Port Arthur

So much sad history but now such a peaceful place to ponder.
