We cruise twice a year, with friends and family. I was excited to try out this ship as it had added the waterslides and had gotten some new updates. Embarkation went smoothly, the ship didn't seem overly crowded, and our room was clean. However, the service was lackluster in the dining room. We waited almost an hour for our main courses to arrive (dinner seating at 8); the waiters seemed rushed; often times our beverages ran out before being refilled, and the food wasn't extraordinary. We ate in Chops Grill for lunch and it was delicious, although there seemed to be only one waiter for the lunch crowd. Dinner in Giovanni's was better; our waitress was phenomenal, but the filet mignon my husband ordered left much to be desired. The shows were lackluster, perhaps because we had seen them before on other ships. We saw a repeat comedian towards the end of the cruise, who used the same jokes when we had seen him on another ship last year. The first comedian at the beginning of the cruise was hilarious, though! We attended both of his shows. The ice skating shows were awesome, those never disappoint. We did have an issue with noise in our stateroom, though, and after four days, they were able to reassign us to another room. Overall, this ship was ok. This was the first cruise that I was disappointed with service in the main dining room. Our room attendants were very nice and courteous and kept everything clean.
Cabin had a noise with intermittent banging in the wall. We were reassigned to another cabin, 8535 after complaining. The room was average, but clean.
