We took this cruise from Nov 11-18th 2918 with our Grandson who was 6 years old on Nov 17th. Embarkation was swift took only 30 minutes 11:30 am. Our cabins were not ready we were directed to eat at Taste for the lunch which was great. The rooms were ready by 1 PM. We were on room 12220 a balcony with a sofa bed for our grandson. After emergency drill we went and registered our grandson in the Flash academy he was in group for 3-5 years old. The cabin itself was very compact enough room to move around and shelf space sufficient accommodate our clothes etc. The toilet and shower were clean and sufficient.. The toiletries and towels proided were also more than our needs.
After the emergency drill we walked around and examined the public rooms such as atrium, theater etc. which are very nice. The ship is immaculately kept clean.
Meals: we ate most of our breakfast at the Savor or Taste, luncheon either in Taste or Garden Buffet. The ship hold 4066 passengers yet it doesn't seems to be that crowded in any of the dining room, the waiting period is not more than 5 minutes. For dinner we ate at the Manhattan dining room where live music entertainment was provided with central dance floor. I am a vegetarian the staff accommodated alternative menus if I didn't like the main entre`. The Maitre D Mr. Melory and his staff were very courteous and always at our service.
Our cabin was located in the midship. It has two beds for adults joined together, a sofbed for children. It had enough space to store our clothes and other supplies. Balcony itself had 2 chairs and a small stool, not much room to move around. Only time we were in Balcony when ship hit the warm waters.
We went to the beach and swam on the beach, they had luncheon provided some hamburgwer, hot dogs Pizza etc.
