I have cruised on Norwegian before, in the past, and generally had a great time on the ship. However, this cruise was well below my expectations. The embarkation process at the New Orleans port was an absolute and unorganized mess. The staff was slow (physically and mentally), confused, and unknowledgable...they looked so miserable and unengaged. The dining experience was horrible; it took 1.5-2.5 hours to get food some nights. The hot tubs were always closed, there were ONLY 2 pools on the entire ship. The rooms were tight and small. The ship and cabins rattled like crazy at certain times of the night and day. There was no complimentary steam and sauna in locker rooms. The art gallery auctioneer was arrogant and pushy. I can go on and on...but I won't waste my time on such a disappointment. This will likely be my last Norwegian cruise. I am utterly disappointed and upset. What a shame and a waste.
