We had a great cruise. Some things we normally receive have been discontinued, chocolates on pillow, smaller portions in MDR. We had a great time. Kevin the Cruise Director was great, Adrian our favorite bartender never let us down. Juno was an excellent waiter in the MDR. This was our second cruise on Sensation, and the ship is older but still had a blast. Staff was friendly. Husband and I are both Veterans and went to the Veterans Service on Veterans Day and it was great. So many amazing veterans on the ship. Bang Bang BK was great as Bingo caller and as part of the entertainment staff. Will definitely continue to cruise with Carvnival Curise Line. We like to cruise on the smaller ships so we will just have to deal with the older ships with less of the modern services. All in all Carnival still gets our vaction dollars.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4A

Cabin is just for sleeping and showering so inside makes sense for us. Would rather pay less and cruise more.

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Went to the plantation, rum museum, chocolate factory and cigar factory. Had a great time. Could have skipped the cigar as the smell in the building was overpowering. But chairs outside so we sat and talked with others who didn't like the smell.

Grand Turk

MargaritaVill is always a blast and right at the port so no need to pay for excursion. Rented loungers, umbrella and cooler and safe on the island by the pool bar. The place was jumping. Dancing on land and in the pool.
