We cruise Princess often because of the many opportunities to dance to the music of talented musicians. The Mexico route is usually full of many dance venues in Club Fusion, Explorers, Wheelhouse & Skywalkers. Many nights even include an hour of taped dance music in Club Fusion or Explorers. This trip beginning October 22-27 then October 27- November 3 was a big disappointment. Only dancing was in Wheelhouse except some in mid-ship on the marble floor with a very small space to dance.

The food in Horizon Court was very tasteless and boring. The main dining room had painfully slow service. The food is a little better than the buffet . Servers were pleasant and tried to be helpful.

Also, most Mexico routes include several afternoon happy hours which offer 2 for 1 drinks. Not this cruise.

Cabin BA

The cabin is typical except for the cloth shower curtains which are terrible and outdated. If you are looking for a lot of dance opportunities, Princess is no longer the cruiseline for dancers. The Great Escape Duo was great but only played for a couple of hours each night starting at 9:00pm.

No dancing in Club Fusion and only a couple of nights of dancing in Explorers in our 12 day back to back Mexico trip . Very disappointed in Princess.

The food was very poor quality except in the Crown Grill, the Specialty restaurant.

We did not use any shore excursions this trip.
