We chose this ship and NCL because we needed an early Nov cruise, and this one fit the time and place. First time with NCL, and found the ship sort of difficult to navigate with places tucked away, like it was a scavenger hunt to find things. I missed a central hangout (like RCL has with the promenade) where I could grab a coffee of drink and just people watch. I guess because we were in a “lower”cabin, I had no coffee maker, so had to go to level 7 where they had coffee available on the outer deck each morning, otherwise you had to pay for specialty coffee or go up to the Garden Cafe/buffet on level 15. Not a biggie, but a hassle. Really enjoyed the “Burn the Floor” dancers and the Comedians. We tried to take advantage of that was available- slides, rope course, mini golf, fitness center, hot tub. The pool was entirely too crowded, and most of the time the hot tubs were packed, so we did our next to find a chair to read and/or enjoy people watching. The various games at the Atrium were fun to watch, and we hung there when we couldn’t find anything else to do. Note- I’m 60 and my daughter is 26 and we don’t gamble, so the casino was a pass thru. We tried the Escape from the Big Top (escape room activity)...way too hard and kinda frustrating. Full disclosure, we were not going to spend money on special dining, so we only went to the complimentary offerings. Service was always smooth, rarely engaging but efficient, and the food was marginal most of the time. I’m not picky really, but I expected better. Also, why different restaurants and same menu??? Service good- food so-so. All in all, I enjoyed the special time with my daughter, which could’ve been anywhere, but next time it’s back to RCL for me!

Sufficient space and ok for our needs. DeWa was good steward and we had no complaints. A coffee maker might have been nice!
