Having barely survived, the installation of an updated kitchen, .... This was to be, that pre holiday break, that was so dearly needed. That was the hope, and that was the plan, .... But the Norwegian Dawn, .... Would quite frankly, fail to deliver !!!

This ship, was such a disappointment, in so many ways, .... That one could easily fill this page, .... And still not cover it all. Suffice to say, that complaints were a normal occurrence, of just about every day. Ranging as minor as, internet minutes, .... And as major as disfunctional / overflowing toilets. Ours, had a fill valve that did not close completely. Which resulted in a flooded bathroom floor, by morning !!! Several attempts, by our cabin steward, resulted in no response, .... He finally suggested, that we should call, and perhaps they would listen to us ( What ??? ) When we did call, .... It took several attempts to resolve the problem, .... As this was obviously not unique, to just our particular stateroom !!!

More importantly, .... After many years of cruising, Platinum on Norwegian alone, .... We are forced to conclude, that the so called “Norwegian Edge”, .... Or whatever they choose to call it, .... Is strictly a marketing term, that pathetically fails to deliver, in a real world sort of way !!! Read more
