Before I give my review I'll offer a few tips that answer questions I had before the cruise, especially since I find MSC's webside difficult.
1. I'm glad I booked the specialty restaurants for some variety. The times are hard to book online but as soon as you get on they'll be trying to offer you reservations and you can change all your reservations there quicky in the atrium area.
2. The sea days were the formal nights. The food didn't seem "special" in the main dining room on formal nights so not missing anything if you book specialty. There is a white party that is fairly well attended and dressed for (not formal) but the gatsby and pirate nights are more in one lounge for those who want to participate. I never saw an italian night. That said, most people weren't that formal. Even on regular nights you could wear dress shorts. No flip flops (unless part of nice ladies sandals). My son couldn't wear a nice tank top even to breakfast in the MDR and had to return for a t-shirt twice. Strange since women had on barely-covered string bikini tops in there.
Roomy enough. Small storage but it was enough. The 3rd bed pulls down over the "king" (2 twins pushed together--wish they had a channel cover down the center) so a little awkward getting in and out on that side of lower bed, and top bed was a little short for our 5'11" teen but it was all fine. The beds are firm but comfortable. Pillows were good for us. Use button by door to ask for room to be serviced if you keep your key card in for electricity when you're not there--otherwise steward thinks you are there if the card is in. Bathroom is small but fine; good shower; bath gel and shampoo in pump tank in shower--that's the only amenities besides tissue. But good shelving in bathroom.
I wouldn't bother with their fake "beach" but holding the turtles was amazing.
Best part was snorkeling in swimming area. Very relaxing day. Take a taxi. Easy.
