Cabin: Spa Balcony Stateroom

We chose the Getaway for my husband's 55th birthday gift. Had an excellent time! We found the stateroom (Spa Balcony #14748) a bit small however very clean and well laid out. There was ample storage.

The food, especially in the specialty restaurants, ranged from very good to excellent. The Lobster Roll and the Calamari at Ocean Blue are not to be missed. Moderno's food is excellent and a huge amount. Need to try the Roasted Pineapple. Teppanaki was gtasty and a lot of fun. Le Bistro also had superb food. Dinner and dancing at Tropicana Room is a great evening. The service in all restaurants was excellent.

The Thermal Suite in the Spa is a great place to relax and unwind. The only issue was the Chain hogs for the Mosaic Heated Loungers. The Thalasso pool is great for aching muscles and the Sauna leaves you feeling clean.

Spa Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B9

We found the stateroom (Spa Balcony #14748) a bit small however very clean and well laid out. The balcony was also small, would only fit 2 chairs facing each other a 1 little table.

There was ample storage; the design takes every square inch in mind to maximize. Jose did a great job keeping the room clean. I found the bed too hard, however, my husband slept quite well.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

Had a great time walking around shopping; got some great jewelry at Silver by the Seas/Royal Jewelry. Merchants are very free with their A/C, beer, and tequila.

Harvest Caye

I was disappointed in Harvest Caye. Although it's well laid out; and the pool is excellent, it feels like it could be at a resort in the Florida Keys, Bahamas, etc. It had no real Belizian feel. Also, even though it is NCL's private island, you still had to pay extra for ALL food and drinks; even on the Drinks Package.
