I will break this review down by my personal pros and cons.
We have previously sailed twice on Carnival, and wanted to see how the two lines compare. The lines are more similar than not. To us, the demographics on board are similar.
We chose this ship because we wanted to see and experience this ship for ourselves.
Cabin Review
Central Park View Balcony
Very nice sized room. The carpet needs to be replaced due to previous guests staining the carpet with red liquids. Annoying. The bed was absolutely awful. Way too hard--like sleeping on a board. The balcony was great. One thing to note: the air outside on the balcony will be much hotter and muggier than an ocean balcony. The air does not circulate very much in the Central Park area.The finishes in the stateroom are very nice, and the bathroom is quite attractive. Very, very clean also!

Snorkeled at Tabyana. Very beautiful! Would do it again in a heartbeat.
Costa Maya
Royal Caribbean actually recommended we cancel our snorkel excursion here due to a high amount of seaweed. We really appreciated Royal Caribbean saying this so that we could avoid be disappointed.
