  3. Ruby Princess
We take about one cruise per year. This one aboard the Ruby Princess was relaxing at best. Fresh from dry dock the ship was refreshed and felt almost new in some venues. The crew contributed to our satisfaction with this cruise. We were lucky enough to have great weather and smooth sailing. There were plenty of choices for dining, entertainment and onboard activities. The demographic was mostly senior couples, some families and few children. We had a mini-suite and ate at two specialty dining options (both were good), otherwise the MDR. The quality of food on Princess has declined but we always can find something that we enjoy. Had to send back menu items back two times. Once at breakfast (eggs were overdone and dried out) and one Indian style entrée that was tasteless. there is Butter rationing happened every night and we had to ask for it every meal. Gym was usually empty, clean and well maintained. Classes overpriced. I don't pay $20 at home.....for a cycle or yoga class.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony
Cabin ME D731
Comfortable and clean minisuite. Bed was the "new " Princess bed. I didn't come home with a backache like I have on some other Princess ships. Cabin steward was great. Efficient, friendly and non-invasive.
