As we were travelling at the very end of peak season, we decided it best to travel north to south, so this cruise was the perfect choice.
From the warm welcome on board to the farewell, the Avalon crew were helpful, happy and professional in their cruise experience delivery.
A lovely surprise upgrade, offered a cabin with a lovely view of the passing castles, villages and countryside. The cabin was attended to daily and we were never wanting for anything. The on board/ in cabin TV screen delivery of the day's events was most helpful.

Deluxe Stateroom with French Balcony
The cabin was meticulously clean with personal air conditioning control. Underbed storage for suitcases prevented clutter in the room and more than adequate storage was available.
The bathroom, necessarily compact, was very user-friendly and easily accommodated toiletries for 2. The hair dryer worked very well, too!
